About Me
I turn complex architecture into production-ready software that ships. With an MSc in Computer Science and 15 years in enterprise development, I bring a system-first mindset to every codebase I touch.
I run SIA “Gulbis Solutions”, an independent software consultancy based in Riga. I’m currently contracted by Tapi Carpets & Floors in the UK, building the scheduling and route optimization systems behind their Home Visits service—call centre appointment planning and daily routing for home consultants across Tapi’s UK showroom network.
I build enterprise-grade applications on Azure, combining robust .NET Core and Entity Framework Core backends with React and TypeScript frontends, delivered through Azure DevOps. As a firm believer in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture, I write secure, testable, and maintainable code—and I use modern AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude to accelerate delivery without compromising architectural integrity.

- Built the integration with DIPS Interactor(opens in new tab), enabling automated delivery of laboratory and radiology results into the children’s clinic platform.
